Those mega floats look fun but they are not. You have no way to control where they go and waved from boats on the lake can flip them over. Never again.
Unless you’re on a private neighborhood lake – then it is.
I got one last year. We tied one side to our dock and tied the other side to the sandbag anchor that came with it, making sure that it does not rub against our dock. The kids love to climb in and out of it and play with water toys inside it. They also like sliding/jumping off the front into the water (we got the boat).
We also take it out periodically. We are on a large lake and enjoy hanging out in it. I feel like it would have to be really large waves to flip it over. I would recommend strong adults are along if you take it out so it can be safely pulled back into shore (especially if windy).
