I’m confused. How does this qualify for the $5 rebate when you haven’t spent $15. Did I misread something?
Hi there! You will purchase two of the Aveeno products above for $8.99 each. That will qualify for the rebate offer, before any coupons and discounts are applied. Hope this helps!
That’s what I’m wondering
Hi there! We have updated the deal idea if you wanted to check again.
I thought rebates were valid ONLY on the total AFTER coupons and discounts were applied. Your total is less than $15. Just wondering. I always have issues at Walgreens on things like this.
Hi Babs! The details do not list that the price needs to be $15 after discounts. Hoping this helps!
I disagree. Walgreens receipt will show the 2nd item’s price @ half off, not $8.99. so you will be short the required $15 if your subtotal is only $13.48
Thanks so much for pointing that out, Mel. We have updated the post.
Thanks! The Aveeno for face is the only sunscreen my son will use because it doesn’t burn his eyes or face.
You’re very welcome! Glad that one has worked well for him!
Has anyone actually had success with this rebate in the above mentioned scenario? I got the following response when I inquired by email whether the $15 total was before or after coupons:
We have received your email, if spend up to $15 total will qualify for a $5 reward. In the receipt make sure to include store name, purchase date, order#, and sub total.
If purchase more than one participating product make sure they are in separate receipts.
The response is worded poorly and confusing, but seems to indicate to me that the total needs to be $15 after coupons. I looked at old Walgreens and CVS receipts and the coupons were deducted before the subtotal, therefore reducing the subtotal by all coupons that were applied. Not trying to be difficult, but I have just been burned on too many deals that didn’t pan out. However, I have also been alerted to many wonderful deals that have worked out that I would have never known about if I hadn’t read about them on Hip2Save!
