   Did anyone receive an up to $10 free item email from Staples? I tried to add an eligible item, but it seems to only work if I purchase more than one item. Only then will it remove the lower cost item from my total. I thought I could order just one item and have the $10 coupon apply to that. Does anyone know how Staples’ promos work? Thanks.

  I received that same e-mail. If you click on get free item, you will get a list of items to choose from. Staples is also offering free shipping, no minimum.

  You do so need to purchase an item. I am buying 0.5 lead and using the $10 on post it notes. Free shipping. My total is $3.70.
