Thanks, I’ll give this face wash a try. These face masks are giving me terrible acne, even with washing them everyday 😩
K, a lot of these scrubs are too harsh for acne. Try using a unscented face wash ( Simple Moisturizing Face Wash or Olay Gentle Face Wash are good options) and try using Differin gel to clear clogged pore surfaces and then using Vanicream Light lotion. And a SPF during the day of your choice. This is a skin regimen that was recommended by a dermatologist while I was experiencing breakouts. Sometimes “less is more”. It’s helped. I hope it helps you.
As someone from the skin care industry, I don’t recommend St Ives products. The scrub particles you feel actually have been known to leave little Cuts in your skin allowing bacteria to grow and make breakouts worse. Just my 2 cents!
Just curious if anyone else has these issues. But while pregnant I started getting thick hairs on my chin. After I pull them out. They are followed by a pimple. Anyone else get those? If so what do you do for it?
Don’t pull them out because it leads to ingrown hairs. I did it for long and I have lots of ingrown hair scars. However, I get electrolysis treatments now and the hair growth and ingrown are almost gone.
For what its worth, these are terrible for your skin. They cause little micro tears
This green tea formula is the best! The micro abrasion is a very fine consistency. I have used it for around three years every day when I shower and have had no problems. I’ve tried other micro abrasions that cost a whole lot more than this, and this is the one that I always stick with.
I love the St Ives Rose Petal Lotion, just bought it yesterday…. very close to summer bath and body work scents. Definitely worth a try!! Smells more like watermelon to me but it’s amazing.
Speaking of St. Ives, their Rosewater and Aloe body wash is the best! Smells great without being overbearing and suds up nicely.
