I found a nice hack. It says today only, but if you save the freebies to your extracare card, you can use them a day or two after the actual date.
That’s what I’ve been doing this entire time so that I’m not going into CVS for just one item. Haha!
My store didn’t let me redeem more than one item in a day

That’s totally an employee/manager decision because the register allows for more than one freebie to be redeemed in the same transaction. I know this because I redeemed yesterday’s and today’s freebies in one transaction at the self checkout. That’s a shame they wouldn’t let you do it. It’s taken me years, but I’ve finally over come feeling funny about going to a store solely to get a free promo for that very reason. The stores are using this very type of promo to get you in to impulse buy and when you refuse to do it they actually get annoyed.

Yeah I thought the same way until I went today right at store opening 8:00 am and they said they ran out of the Qtip from yesterday’s freebies. You do risk it being sold out if you waited. I got the trail mix tho, but after I got mine there was like less than 10 bags left. Many people are going to be disappointed if that’s all they had on display and several bags are expiring on 7/29/20. Of course, that was just at my store I went to and can’t say about other stores.
Yes, my store is out of the freebie less than an hour after opening every day. Can’t wait until the next day.
Yep I missed out on the Apricot scrub yesterday because they were all gone but found the cotton swabs.
I finally got one of these freebies! I had to go to the store at 8:30 am but at least I found it before they were all gone!

I have driven to 3 CVS stores (only several blocks apart!) and none had the trail mix! The stores stated that they were not sent any additional packages of trail mix for the promo. Funny that CVS would offer these “freebies” without supplying the stores with extra amounts of product. Frustrated!!!!!
Just a tip that might be helpful is that you can check product availability if you have the app. I ended up going to 2 locations the other day before the third had the facial scrub freebie in stock. I realized after that if I had checked the app I probably could have saved myself a trip to the other stores even though they weren’t far apart but still would have saved time. I just thought I would share 🙂

If you search for the specific product on the app and click on it there should be “check store availability” at the top. Hope that helps 🙂
