We do a similar method when teaching our children to ride bikes without training wheels. We just take the pedals off their existing bikes and have them practice balancing. It usually takes our kids 2 days to learn to balance and then they ask for their pedals on, and they’re riding miles without training wheels immediately. Same method but we just don’t need to buy a separate bike for it 😉
