I bought this set for my husband as he travels often for work. We thought about getting the “more expensive” comparable ones but decided on these. The price was better and the reviews were pretty good.
Well, after having them for several months and many airline trips I have to say that I am very happy with this luggage set. They have tons of room inside for packing and they have a zipper closure that separates the two sides.
They weigh almost nothing and we can load them with our items instead of losing 10 lbs just for the suitcase itself. The wheels spin and move like butter on a hot pan! I have had others that I would swear that all four wheels are trying to move in separate directions!
They have been tossed around like a sack of potatoes by the airline staff and they still look great! I am very happy with my purchase.
Having so much trouble deciding on new luggage. Seems like you can’t just rely on a couple of reviews. The review in this post says it weighs almost nothing so you don’t have to waste 10 pounds on luggage. However, if you look at the specs, this piece weighs just under 10 pounds! Would love to hear from others and what luggage they absolutely love.

In general, Samsonite hardsides are fantastic. I travel a ton and have tried a few less expensive but reputable brands, including American Tourister and Ciao. Samsonite is far and away better. The material is reinforced inside so it retains its structure, whereas many others aren’t, and it’s far more durable to scratches and nicks from being lugged around.
