Is this USA made? I am always worried about chemicals in skincare.

    • SMB2005

      Made in China.

      • Betty

        China?! Oh no.

    • Carrie Ann Brown

      Made in china

That’s what I want, stuff on my face for a $1….

  3. Jess

    Yeah, that seems sketchy.

  4. Boogiedown

Ingredients in these are cheap and ineffective. The bath bombs are nice though for a foot soak.

Applying products that were made in China that are going to seep into your skin doesn’t seem like a good idea. I don’t always believe in the concept that you get what you pay for, but this just has all kinds of red flags for me.

    • Neenee

Being manufactured in China doesn’t necessarily mean the ingredients came from China. Nor does being manufactured in the US mean they didn’t import the ingredients from China. That’s to say China had worse quality ingredients, which do they really

Bolero products are not any good from some legitimate YouTubers that do Dollar Tree Hauls & reviews of items. With this Pandemic, I would just be extra cautious & look for named brand products like Dove, Arm & Hammer, Vaseline, Baby Lips, Eco Tools, VO5, Dermasil, etc all of which I’ve seen at Dollar Tree. FYI they also have name brand items to keep your kids busy during this time. Crayola, Disney, Barbie & Marvel coloring books (if you’re lucky some stores even have the giant coloring books). Hot wheels, Ugly Dolls, Barbie, & Trolls toys as well. If you’re in a financial pinch, Dollar Tree is the way to go for all your needs & even for stocking up for Christmas gifts. Some stores even have a bread section with name brand bread like Nature’s Own, etc. Why am I telling you all this lol. We’re all in this together.

I really appreciate the thought out response. I agree about being extra cautious and that the dollar store is great for stocking up on all those little extras for Christmas, especially in a financial pinch that most of us are facing during the pandemic.

Bolero is junk. Save your $1.

I would suggest anyone looking for affordable serums and skincare shop online with The Ordinary. They’ve got effective ingredients, and they’re very affordable. Shipping always seems to take several weeks, but the products do come, eventually.

    • Ana

That stuff is awesome! And high end without the high end cost, its just a matter of finding it:)
I’m glad I read these comments before a trip to the dollar store.

    • Susan S.

I agree. My entire skincare regimen is The Ordinary. My skin has never been better!!! I never have issues with long ship times. You can also find some of their products at Ulta & Sephora.
