The Cat and Jack masks were large for my almost 8 year old. They slipped down a lot. I found the Carters masks were a much better fit and more comfortable for her to wear.
Mine were big too. Have you tried drying them in the dryer? They shank a little once I dried them.
I tied knots in the elastic and that helped. The Carters ones are pleated which seems to stay in place better when she talks (which is constantly 😄). I will try drying them and hopefully that helps. Thanks for the suggestion!
I assume this depends on child. My 6 year old has a big round head and both these and the superman pack from Target were pretty small. Not un-useable but tighter on the ears and maybe not the best for a long wear. I found a good Etsy shop who could make an in between child and adult size. I do like the cat and jack’s shape with some metal to bend around the nose though.
The Cat and Jack masks fit my 13 year old son. I bought them to try after reading reviews that they ran big, as most kid size masks are too small for him but many adult masks are too big.
I really like the Cat and Jack mask for my 9 year old, but they are a touch large for my 7 year old. I will say that the girls mask have a nice wire-like edge that the boys mask lack which is disappointing. After watching Bill Nye the Science guy on Good Morning America, these mask do pass the candle light test to ensure they are doing a good job. As an adult, I even fit the kids mask (snuggly) and enjoy the cute prints. But the adult mask are too large for me.
I bought my boys the dinosaur and blue stripe pack and that has the wire nose piece.
Yes, the original Cat and Jack masks didn’t have the wire. But I bought my boys new sets and the wire is included now. Nice change!
No, but wearing a mask is easier than taking an experimental vacine.
A mask is cheap insurance. Since you can have the disease without symptoms why would you not want to protect yourself and others? Who has a spare $100,000 to pay for this, if you survive.
Most do not care what they have and who they spread it to.
Maybe, if they put gathered elastic in the masks they would fit better.
Also, sleep is very important and it is impossible to find a sleep max in these stores that fits proper! All right an unadjustable. Yet, prices keep going up!
These masks are great if you’re like me and too small for a regular adult mask but too big for a regular kids mask!
