I bought one of these to go on the back of a 62″ TV in my garage and it worked flawlessly. So, during a bedroom remodel I got the idea of adding some ambient light to the room. Took me all of about 10 minutes to install this to the bottom of our wood frame bed.
The app connected right up to the light system and is easy to use. It has three buttons on the unit to turn it off and on, cycle through different colors and different light patterns. Brightness is adjustable and white balance can be adjusted from warm to cool. I’ll buy another as soon as I can find a cool place to put it!
My 15-year-old daughter picked these lights out for her bedroom, and she loves them. The app for the lights works on Android or Apple devices and is very easy to use to control changing the colors. In addition, the automation of different lighting patterns, including the ability to have the lights react to music, is a feature she finds most enjoyable and entertaining.
Overall, these are easy to put up and set up via the lights’ app (the included control on the lights’ power cord is also easy to use when/if you’re not using the app). The brightness of the lights is perfect for her needs and really does add a cool factor to her room’s appearance!
These are cool don’t get me wrong but we purchased five sets of the black light ones for a glow paint party and the pictures are very misleading as far as the brightness the lights actually produces. The light strips are about 3/8 inch wide. I am actually working in sending money back right now. Granted my came from a different seller online but identical pictures. It would be a great addition to a tv or shelves or even on a Christmas tree for lights but did not meet my needs for the glow party. Kinda think of fairy lights when you get these if that makes sense.
I totally agree. It depends if it had had something close and light in color to bounce off of also. We have them under our upper cabinets which are white underneath and they have white high gloss quartz countertops under them so it reflects brighter (not as bright as the pic though) We tried them in the den with medium dark grey walls and they don’t appear nearly as bright. (You also have to keep in mind that these pics they used are stock photos that sellers pull off the web, so don’t expect yours to look like that)

I’m looking for a good price on a multipack of smart bulbs (or strips) that I can control with Alexa.
My parents have a couple of these strips of lights above their kitchen cabinets. They look great. My mom enjoys changing the colors. They also put a few strips of white lights below the cabinets. I think it’s a good amount of light. My dad said they can be joined up pretty easily. We’ve been looking for a deal. This might tempt my husband just enough to buy them.
How long is the cord? Not sure how you plug in from tops of cabinets?
I think he drilled a couple of holes from the top through the bottom and was able to plug them into a backsplash outlet.

Hi! I was looking at these for possible classroom decorations. Does anybody have any idea if it would work on bulletin boards or as border?
My granddaughter wants these for her birthday. I have been looking and I’m pretty confused as to which ones to buy. She wants them to work with the app and her music. Also to go around her room. Any help?
