This is a good price but I am going to pass since 5000 IU per day is a lot! Be sure to Google this amount per day and maybe only take it every other day? 1000-2000 is a good dose for most. I have taken 5000 IU per day before I did research on dosing. Just FYI since I am a big supporter of Vitamin D. 😀

I forgot to mention how thankful I am to H2S for all the great vitamin deals. I buy most of them. Please keep them coming!

My doctor recommends max 2,000 because I have serious Vitamin D deficiency so 5,000 would be too high. But you can always split the pill (or at least I think you can).

When my tests showed I was low my Dr. prescribed 5000 a day for 6 months.

Please get your Vitamin D level checked before supplementing. You could end up taking too much or not enough. I had been taking 2000 IU daily for awhile and when I was later tested my level was so low my doctor increased it to 6000 for 30 days and then I was to gradually cut back. I should have had my level tested first. And, once my Vitamin D level got in the normal range my vertigo issues stopped. Haven’t had an attack in eight years.

The 50% coupon does not show up for me with the 360 count at 5000 IU, only on some of the other options.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Darn, I’m seeing the deal is over. Thanks, cheryl!

      • Jeri

        • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Wahoo, thanks! I got it updated again, Jeri!

Yup. It seems the coupon is gone now. Thanks for commenting!
