LOOOOOOOVE THIS!!!!! Bought this cream originally for my infant son instead of using the standard baby lotions. I’m a pediatric nurse and have used so many different types of baby lotions. They weren’t cutting it with his dry skin. I have eczema myself and know that some creams can sting when the skin is cracked. I also like that this cream is thick! Most definitely keeps an awesome moisture barrier. I wish I had discovered this earlier! I will recommend this to everyone I know!!!!!!
I have struggled with very persistent eczema for years and this product has been a godsend. Prior to finding this brand, I had been devoted to the Cerave lotion lines but they were not really helping to heal my skin. Come to find out, I am highly allergic to several of the ingredients commonly found in Cerave and many other lotions and cheap skin care products.
Vanicream is so great because it has fewer and more sensitive ingredients than any other lotion brand I have come across. I have never had any irritation from this lotion and it has gone miles towards healing my rashes and open wounds. I have used this religiously for about two years now and I am never going back.

I loved this cream for my little one when he had eczema. Although I will say we left it sit for about 5 months over the summer when he didn’t have any outbreaks (in our air conditioned house so it wasn’t exposed to high heat or anything) and when we went to use it again it smelled rancid and we had to throw it away.
Oh darn! Thanks for sharing your experience, Beth. Sorry to hear the lotion went bad after a few months.
I wonder if you got a bad batch. I am working on a tub of Vanicream that I’ve had for over 2 years. It’s still working great and smells fine.
I thought this cream was for a certain body part when I first read the name LOL 😉
🤣🤣🤣
Anyone here recommend, lotion for extremely dry skin this time of year?
This one is very good. And I like the Watkins hand cream
Hay Saver. This cream is amazing. I hate to use lotion and when I do, I use this stuff. I have psoriasis and get chemo rash that kills me sometimes. This cream, for me, goes on smooth and doesn’t leave me sticky or greasy. My grandma uses it when she comes to visit and likes it too. Good luck.
I have severe dry skin to the point that flaky scales sometime appeared. I tried Cerave, Cetaphil, and Vanicream. But for me, AmLactin works best. I usually get it when Costco has promo. It might feel greasy/sticky when you first apply it since it takes time to absorb. But the result is amazing. My skin now is so soft.
Bummer, coupon not coming up for me
DARN! That offer is gone now. Thanks for letting us know!
Bummer! Only $0.66 off being offered on my account.
Same,. We’re not part of the cool group
I just checked this listing again this morning. I now have a coupon for $2.33! Might be worth checking your account again! 🤞🏻
Thanks, Sara! It seems the $2 coupon is gone now. Bummer!
Kinda OT, but any suggestions for dry itchy scalp? I have baby fine hair that is already thinning horribly and it doesn’t take much to make it look greasy.
I get the same- and no shampoo has worked except for Neutrogena T/gel.. and it’s pricey and smells like tar!! So I researched the mess out of it.. wash with Suave Clarifying (the blue clearish one) and then pour a capful of BROWN listerine one your scalp- be careful of your eyes!!! (And mouth 🔥!) and massage it all over your scalp for several minutes. Leave it on while you wash the rest of you.. and then rinse it out. It MAY take two washes of this.. or it may just take one. I have to do this about twice a year because my head gets itchy.
The $2 coupon still comes up for me!
Awesome!
