Today, November 12th is the official launch date of the highly anticipated PlayStation 5 Next-Gen Gaming Console! If you are looking to get your hands on one, don’t bother heading in-store, as PlayStation recently announced that these consoles will only be available for purchase online, due to safety concerns with the current pandemic.
Rumor has it that these consoles will be available to order from Walmart.com today (11/12) at noon EST with possible additional opportunities to score one throughout the day around 3 pm, 6 pm & 9 pm. Rumor has it that you will also be able to purchase from Target.com during the day, as well. However, if you’re interested, you may want to start checking earlier as it’s possible they will release prior to those times.
HIP TIP: Be sure to log into your Walmart or Target account ahead of time, as these are highly likely to sell out quickly.
There are two styles of the PS5 console: a disc reader version for $499+ and a digital-only version for $399+. This PS5 system includes a controller and features lightning-fast load time thanks to the built-in SSD. It has incredible graphics, 4K TV compatibility, and it even has 8K output so you can play games on a 4320p resolution display! Plus, this system is backwards compatible with select PS4 games, and you can use your PS VR with this system!

I’m with you I waited till noon got one in my cart at Walmart and the site had an error and in less then 2 min it was out of stock
I’m pissed!! Went live at 1140pm at Target. Had it in the cart. Kept getting stupid error messages. By 1146 pm SOLD OUT.

I had them in my cart and was checking out at multiple stores and while processing payment it would go back and say cart empty. 🤬
The manager at my local Walmart told me yesterday good luck getting one online. It’s all sold by location. 🤷🏼♀️ Great! I live in the Midwest and in the country, so my odds are probably not great. Bummer.

Our 11 year old has been reading articles and telling us our best hope at getting one. Hoping for some luck today. Our PS4 broke a couple of weeks ago but couldn’t justify buying a new one knowing that they PS5 was almost here. He isn’t big on texting but does communicate with many of his friends by talking with them on the headset as they play their games. He has been missing it.
It came & went on Best Buy. Was lucky to just check it at the exact right moment and score one.
I got one, but it changed my pick up location to Ohio. I live in Indiana. I had to cancel my order. 😭😭😭😭😭

I had one in my cart at Walmart right at 12pm EST.. and then of course Walmart could not keep up with the checkout demand and after it telling me “OH DEER” and put me in a waiting room -it then sold out – I had multiple browsers open just trying to check out.. so frustrating.. but still time before Christmas so maybe I will get lucky!
