Let your Walmart+ membership work for you with Emily’s infinite list hack!

Here’s a game-changing tip: Use the Walmart app like a running grocery list. Every time you run out of something – coffee, paper towels, dog food, whatever – just add it to your Walmart cart in the moment. No scrambling to remember what you need later.

Then, open the app, review your cart, place the order with your Walmart+ membership, and boom:

✅ No forgotten items
✅ No wasted time

It’s the easiest way to shop smarter, not harder. 😉

I’ve been a Walmart+ member for a few years now, and I think the Walmart+ membership is worth every penny! – Nicole, Hip Sidekick

I have had a Walmart+ membership for years and used the benefits frequently. But when the delivery zone in my area was recently expanded to include my home address, I was even more excited. Groceries delivered for free to my door ($35 order min. Restrictions apply) means less time on the road, fewer forgotten items, and more time back in my day. – Liza, Hip Sidekick

Are your groceries always delivered in their reusable bags or are those purchased separately and they put your groceries in them? Thanks

    • Emily S (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Gina! I live in New York state so typically my orders are delivered in paper bags (plastic grocery bags were banned several years ago here). However, if I add reusable bags for purchase to my order, they will be delivered in those bags instead.

If you do an order pickup instead of delivery and bring your own bags in your vehicle, they’ll package your order in your bags instead of having to repurchase them. I hope that helps!

    FREE PHARMACY DELIVERY!
My mom is in a retirement home and we added her as a family member and now can have all her prescriptions delivered.
Plus when someone is sick, not having to go to the store to have a prescription filled is great.
The other benefits mentioned, plus pharmacy delivery, make this a deal we can’t pass up.

    • Danielle

How do you add someone as a family member to your Walmart plus account?

  3. SZ

I live on the 3rd floor of an apartment building. With Walmart+, will the driver carry the groceries up to the 3rd floor or do I need Home Delivery for this?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Great question! With Walmart+, standard grocery delivery typically brings your items to your doorstep. However, delivery drivers are generally not required to carry groceries up multiple flights of stairs. Many drivers may decline such requests due to the physical strain involved.

If you’re on the third floor, it may be best to meet the driver at the building entrance or parking area to assist with carrying the groceries. This approach ensures a smoother delivery experience. You could reach out to your store specifically to see how they might manage your order since this could vary. Hoping that helps! ❤️❤️

  4. Jean

Hi, I’m wondering about the tip situation. I know the delivery is free but aren’t we encourage to tip as well. How do you determine how much?? Thanks for your input:)

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Great question, Jean! You have the option to tip at checkout. It will suggest a few different ranges 10% etc. It is up to you how much. I generally tip based on the size of my order and sometimes even take into account the weather or if we’re near a holiday as well. I usually find that the cash I may have earned from a previous purchase, helps offset the tip I’d like to give. Hoping this is helpful! 🤗❤️

    • Sara J

I have found that if you do not add a decent tip to the initial order, it is harder to find a delivery driver who will commit to take your order. I usually tip 10-15%, depending on the weight and number if items in my order.

I would love to see what others tip.

    • Lorilei

I live about 40 minutes from Walmart so I tend to tip 15% And a bit more depending on weather, Holidays, and if I have a very large order.

I have a ramp for my disabilities, so I take a small wagon to meet them in the driveway when its more than a few bags. We have several stairs living in Hill Country of Texas, our house is raised.

The only issues I’ve had being so far out is a couple of times the driver tried to deliver at 10p.m. and the only access into our community after 5p.m. is if I go let them in.
I let the store know do not come past 8p.m. and that worked.
      Hope this helps

  5. Hipgrandma

Is anyone having an issue with their Paramount streaming? Ours seems to lag or buffer frequently

  6. Marinova

This is not just for new members…I was just able to re-sign up for the year for $50.
Has the tipping situation changed? My recollection was that tipping wasn’t necessary for the InHome delivery?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

SWEET! I’m not seeing that offer when checking through my account. Did you have to go through any additional steps as a current member to renew at 50% off, Marinova?

For delivery, tips are appreciated but not required. For InHome delivery, tipping is not an option during checkout. Hope that helps!

      • Marinova

I used your link. I had been a member but let it lapse in February since I wasn’t completely satisfied with the produce quality. I missed having the no minimum delivery and the pick up at my door for returns, so I thought I would re-subscribe for a year if it worked, and it did!

        • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Oh, thank you! I appreciate the additional details. I’ll add a note to the post, in case others may be able to grab the offer too! 🙌💞 Hoping your experience, especially with produce, is better this time around for you!

  7. Jessalynn5887

Can you use this deal if you already have Walmart plus? I’m pretty sure last year I was able to but I don’t see a way to this year

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

I’m not seeing that option when checking my account now. Bummer! We’ll be sure to post if we do find a deal for current members. 🩷
