    Just an FYI..
I ordered a bunch of things about ten days ago…got everything except my toilet paper. Then yesterday got a cancellation. (Not sure why it wasn’t canceled when my order shipped without it.)

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh bummer! Thanks for sharing. Sorry to hear your toilet paper order was cancelled.

Got it for pick up! Great deal!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Yay!

Walgreens is something else. Ordered 2 days ago for in store pickup. Store says they didn’t get my order. Customer service says everything is fine and store should give me my order or they can just cancel. I paid online for it. Spent 2 hours already in this mess all over few good deals. Never again will I do store pickup. Glitch on top of glitch

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh darn! Very sorry to hear about that. It sure does sound frustrating. Hoping it is resolved for you real soon!

I ordered toilet paper last week for my elderly aunt in Chicago, with store pick up. Got an email that it was ready for pick up. My aunt went there and they said it wasn’t there yet, and told my aunt she needed a time frame for pick up. WTH? It’s not curbside pick up. I called CS, and was told to call the store. I called the store, and I was told it was there, all ready for pick up. So my aunt walked back to Walgreens (only 2 minute walk from her apartment) and got the TP. Then, 3 days ago , I got another email that they canceled my order per my request (?) (which was already picked up) and that my credit card won’t be charged. I checked my card 2 days ago, sure enough, there was no charge.

I ordered a lot of items from Walgreens on Nov 30. Very slow shipping. The soonest expected delivery date is Dec 10, but most items no expected delivery yet. I didn’t like that they didn’t give you an expected delivery date until a week later. I am sorry I tried ordering from them.

I tried to do some buy 2 for x$’s last time. For store pick up. My store cancelled every single second item (saying limit of 1) and tried to charge me full price for the single item. Nope.

    • JennD

This was for toilet paper, paper towels, and tissues. A single 2 for purchase each. So not like I was trying to get 8 toilet papers or anything like that, lol

      • Erin Rank

Same here! Yet they keep promoting bogo or buy 3 offers when many stores are limiting to 1. Its frustrating that their website doesn’t match the in store limits and lets you place the order. I lost all my Scott’s coupons and spend $20 get $5 off.

Oh no that’s not fair. Call 1-800-WALGREENS and ask for the equivalent of the coupons in MyWalgreens cash.

This would be a good one to do in-store if you can locally to avoid confusion (assuming your store has some in stock) $0.25 back on ibotta

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the helpful suggestion, Maggie!

    • Ally

I was going to post the Ibotta rebate too… but mine is $1.50 on 6 ct or larger! What a deal! Thanks Hip2Save for the lead!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks a bunch for taking a moment to share these helpful tips and suggestions! We sure do appreciate it!

Ordered this for in-store pickup. Then get an email that it is delayed and will notify when ready or if they cancel. Horrible.

I’ve been pleased with all my online Walgreens orders! Shipping has been fast, and only had one thing canceled. I order (and will continue to!) every single time they have free shipping!

I tried in store pick up for the last 2 toilet paper deals. One of them was cancelled even though I went to the store and checked to see that it was in stock. The second one was filled and I was able to pick it up. Odd that one was cancelled and other wasn’t for the same toilet paper deal.

Thank you for posting this. I did find my store had this. I also spied a sale on Flipz while I was online. My daughter-in-law loves them and I try to get them for stockings for her and my son. The non-festive ones are on sale 2/$6, but if you opt for the festive ones they are 2/$4 and the same size. I noticed they are not in stock to ship, but my store had them showing in stock.

My first two in-store pick ups haven’t been great, but it’s getting better. My first try was a few weeks ago buying All detergent. Once we got to the store after getting the pick up email, the clerk stated that our orders weren’t there. I saw them in sight and showed her. She didn’t know how to check me out. She apologized and explained that it’s all new to them as they are learning. I know all the staff there anyway, so I am always patient and pleasant with them and they’re patient and pleasant with us. Last week I bought 2 tissues for $16.00. I used the $1 coupon and had $6 in points. I picked this up at another store. I have 3 Walgreens within 15 driving minutes. This order was cancelled within 2 days even though it was still sitting there for me to pick up. The manager came up to help me. She explained that it was a huge glitch that caused all kinds of problems with their pick up service. I know the manager and staff very well at this Walgreens also. She re-did my order exactly how it was since it was cancelled. My points were not refunded, so she gave my points back plus an extra $5 in points for the inconvenience. She told me to bear with them as they get this worked out. My third pick up was flawless. As the weather gets colder, I will definitely utilize the pick up service but let them bring it to my vehicle. Happy Holidays everyone!! Be safe!
