went to 2 Walgreens to score this deal on Sunday.
When I took 2 Fanatics gift card and 1 Walgreens gift card, both stores’ cashiers got no idea what I was talking about and even a cashier at one store said that “I’ve never heard about this” and gave me a kind of dirty look…lol so I showed her weekly ad in my phone so both stores’ cashier called store managers. When store managers showed up and told them how to do it. I got $10 Walgreens gift card as Advertise said. this happens every time for free gift card deal… 🙁
When I tried that, my store didn’t trust what I showed them on my phone, I needes to flip to it in the physical circular in store…
so sorry that happened to you. the cashier didn’t trust me when I showed her the ad on my phone. her co-worker suggested that after she scanned 2 gift cards, then swipe Walgreens’ gift card and enter amount but she was like ” I’m not sure so I don’t wanna do it. I’ll call manager.” then manager showed up and she told her how to do it. but the cashier still looked at me funny…lol

how does the cashier rings this up?? There is no refund on this so no one wanted to try..I saw them scan $15 on both Dominos and WG card $10 but then there was a total of $40 so they took it off — not sure if they had to press another button but it was a WG gc with a heart on front . Please if anyone knows LMK so I can be ready for the next time.
My Walgreen’s told me it had to be the plain Walgreen’s gift card with the W. Apparently gift card promos only work with those and not the fancier looking ones.
