I already have one similar to this for dog food, but considering getting one for rock salt for the wonderful winter weather we typically get. Great price!
Fabulous idea on the salt!
i bought one of these from tractor supply yesterday for $15.00. i used to keep a 25 lb bag of cat food in the fridge until i read that cat and dog food can harbor bacteria. So i thought why not get more organized and clean this year. so i returned the big bag of cat food and buy the airtight container and 3.15 lb bag of cat food brand new for my beautiful grey 16 year old fur baby/ now it sits nicely on my buffet table in the kitchen. the lid has like styrofoam around it for the airtight seal. that part seems a bit flimsy but i wont be touching it so hopefully it lasts.
Just got one for our new little puppy Coco. Perfect timing as always, HIP–you´re a wonder!!
