Starbucks now can be shaken… not stirred!

Starting March 2nd, Starbucks is offering a new line of shaken iced espresso drinks – which, may I say, sound amazing! Starbucks’ cold beverage sales have grown over the past 4 years, so it’s only natural they would continue to expand their cold beverage lineup.

Yay! About time! Oat milk is way better for the environment than almond milk.

I agree. Yet their oatmilk is gross and tastes like they add a bunch of artificial sweetners and things to it. Every time ive tried one of their drinks with oatmilk and no sweetner i still get that lingering artifical taste afterwards. They make their own oatmilk so who knows what they add to it…The oatmilk i use daily is by califa farms its so delicious!

You can see the ingredients in the oatmilk they’re using by clicking on the Amazon link.

Where do you live? Because the oat milk hasn’t even launched in most US stores! Also, I’m unsure of what you’re talking about because 1 I work there, and 2 it’s absolutely delicious.

        • Samantha

Also, Ashley, It’s made by Oatly. We do not make our own anything just so you’re aware. We pay people to make it all for us.

Maybe she’s confusing it with Dunkin 🤷‍♀️ They’ve had oatmilk for awhile.

I’m in southern CA and my nearest Starbucks has had a Honey Oatmilk Latte for a while now, but I’m not sure if you can get the oat milk with any other order.

Everything by Califia Farms is delicious!! I haven’t tried their Oatmilk but I bet it’s yummy 😋

How the hell do you milk an oat?

  2. ashley-7

This sounds good because thats how i make my coffee at home.brown sugar and oatmilk. However, even their oatmilk does not taste healthy. They make their own brand, which no one knows the ingredients of, and it doesnt taste like pure oatmilk, it taste like artificial sweetner.

  3. alexisrobinson-davis

They actually state in this ad that they will be using the brand “oatly” so it may not have the artificial taste you guys have experienced. I , also, don’t enjoy the artificial sweetener aftertaste, so I sure hope they have this fixed before national release.

Would be great if the box was vegan.

  5. Erica

The brand Oatly is good and is oil free.

    • cooper

no it’s not. Oatly uses rapeseed oil

  6. Tina

Try a chai tea latte shaken…. soo good!! And the brown sugar espresso drink sounds delicious (topped with whole milk!) 🙂 😉

  7. Alexandra

Hey everyone I reached out to Starbucks to see if the new drinks that came out today are vegan and no they are not 😞 it was about the brown sugar shaken oat milk drink and the chocolate almond milk shaken drink. He told me they are not. There’s dairy in malt powder chocolate and the brown sugar is from bone char like white sugar.
