We bought this kitchen stool for our toddler this Christmas. All others range in the $100s, so we thought we’d test out the concept. It’s the present she didn’t know she needed. She was always trying to help by pulling up a barstool that didn’t have a back. Now she can easily access the counter (which is a good and bad thing, we realized). It’s become somewhat of her jungle gym. It was very easy to put together. I did it in about half an hour, but I did borrow a drill to ensure stability with the screws. I love that the top can come off later when the kids are grown to just serve as a step stool! Nothing about this folds (we didn’t expect it to based on the description), so we can’t store it. It just sits next to the counter all the time. It was an easy purchase, good quality, holds up to 100 pounds, and costs much less than the other alternatives!

I bought this and thought it was very wobbly and ended up taking it back

That’s frustrating! Thank you so much for your honest feedback!

I had something like this for when my daughter was younger & wanting to help in the kitchen. The one I got is solid wood & can even be folded a bit for easier storage. I think it was the Little Helpers Learning Tower. One of the best investments I made on furniture for her so far. She was able to use it from age 2 – 5…she actually could still use it now, but she’s plenty tall enough on her own to safely reach the counter & she wants to be a big girl 😉

All of this to say if you’re on the fence about buying something similar I’d say go for it! But do some research & determine which brand & style will work best for your family & in the space that you may have available 🙂

Did you mean Little Partners learning tower? I’m actually looking for a good, safe and durable wooden learning tower for my son(hate adding more plastic to the environment)
