Thanks for sharing, Jodi! We added that to the post.

  1. Klp

Does anyone know if the free can will count towards buying 2 cans for the rebate?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

It doesn’t address that issue in the terms, Klp! You can call and ask their customer service at 877-322-8355.

  2. Klp

Wouldn’t it be a better deal to get 4 cans (2 are free), $1 coupon, and $5 rebate for buying 4 cans. $9.18-$1-$5= $3.18 for 4 cans

  3. Steph

Wouldn’t the best deal be to buy 6 cans? That would get you the $10 rebate resulting in 6 cans for $2.77, I think.

    • Klp

I could only 4 cans for a curbside order

  4. Karin Jaros

I had placed an order for 2 cans prior to checking out the rebate. So I order an additional 4 cans on another order. Hoping to submit it together for 6 can purchase. HOpe it works.

    • Klp

The way I understood it was each receipt is one submission but you can submit 5 times.

      • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

That is what I am reading as well. You can do the rebate 5 times, but each receipt must be submitted separately.

        • Ms Annie

If I buy 10 cans do I have to pay separately for each two cans? Will the rebate want five different receipts?

          • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Great question! I did find this in the details – “Each redemption request must be submitted separately.” Hope that helps!

  5. Paula

Do the online receipts work as well as the instore receipts?

  6. Paula

Rebate says store Identified receipt so that was why I ask.

    • Klp

You’ll get a paper receipt when you pickup a curbside order

  7. J. Sweet.

    Thank you!!!!!!

      You’re welcome!

If you happened to buy today’s newspaper the coupon was in the SmartSource insert. Maybe a friend or neighbor is not using it if you didn’t. Newspapers can vary by region.

Can anyone know if I pay with Walgreens rewards/cash? do I get the rebate?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! I don’t find that listed as an exclusion in the offer details. Hope this helps!

      • Vinnu

        Thanks for the reply.

          You’re welcome!

Make sure Walgreens gives you a receipt. I picked up my tide deal last week and I didn’t get a receipt. A few days later I got an email stating my order had been cancelled and I wasn’t charged because I didn’t pick it up in time. I guess because they still had the receipt they assumed I didn’t pick it up.

I think you got an employee who didn’t know how to handle the transaction. When you place an order for a store pickup there is a hold placed on your card but the transaction is not complete. When you pull up and tell them that you are there it gets run through the cash register at that point as a sale. That’s when the receipt is generated at the time of pickup not at the time of order. The employee either picked it up off the shelf and took it to you or didn’t know how to ring it through the cash register. That’s why there was the cancellation. Orders are canceled if not picked up within 72 hours. Receipt and catalinas are generated at time of pickup through the regular checkout so yes ask for it if not stapled to the bag or handed to you.

The way I read the rebate, you could do this up to 5 times!! Stockpile on almonds!!! ha ha! Thank for tip, I just bought my six cans and submitted!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yes! That’s correct! You’re welcome, Liz!

  12. Kim

What is everyone putting for the price, you can clearly see they are B1G1F on the coupon. I tried putting 3 @ 4.99 and 3 @ 0.00 but it won’t take that, I wondered if 2.49 and 2.50 is better but then you can see on the receipt that that’s not the case. Just don’t want mine to be declined…thanks

    • K Crew

I just put 6 cans and my total purchase price, which was $13.77. I hope that will work!

    • Ccb

Yes, I wondered that too. I called the customer service # and the rep told me they look at the price on the receipt so I’m not sure I qualify for the $10 rebate.

  13. Angelynne

Has anyone received their rebate check for this? I went in-store, purchased 6 cans w/B1G1 total $12.77 and submitted for the $10 rebate (which by the way was very complicated) and now I just received a rebate check in the mail for $1.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh darn! I did find the contact number to reach them about this – 877-322-8355. Hoping they may be able to help!

    • Kelley Otto

Same here, only received $1 check in the mail and customer service said I only purchased 3 cans, not 6 ☹️

    • Kristan Meadows

My check for $10 bounced on my account. I am so ticked they want me submit all kinds of stuff just to send me another check…ummm no thanks. I even contacted Blue Diamond but they were not much help.

      • Angelynne

Omg that’s awful! So sorry to hear that happened!

  14. jeanette

Same here! Received $1 check because I only purchased 3 cans. i contacted their customer service via email. good thing the husband didn’t eat them all… may return.. we win some and we lose some 🙂

    • Angelynne

I might be returning them as well, we had only eaten 1. It’s just a hassle but I’m glad to hear I wasn’t the only one who received $1

  15. NOW

I submitted 2 seperate rebates. I did the bogo walgreens deal first then I purchased 6 from Target days later later. I received a $10 check, but now that I see all the replies above the $10 maybe for the Target submission. I haven’t received another check yet. If it’s for $1 that will be disappointing, but next time I will know. I think its sort of silly to say only 3 cans was purchased when there is no way we could have gone to the store to get the “free”ones.

    • NOW

Update I received my 2nd check today for $10. I’m not sure how they are determining who gets $1 or $10 for Walgreens purchase.

  16. Elizabeth Perry

I received my $10.00 check for the Walgreens purchase today! I’m happy in light of the above comments. I guess it depended who processed your receipt!
