I don’t know if Ibotta changed it since you posted it, but, at least in my account, I’m showing the Head and Shoulders to be a dollar back, not 3.

    • Rachel

Maybe it varies by account. Mine shows $3.

  2. Lisa Orcutt

Good to know. Thanks. Ibotta is new to me. I double-checked it. Mine is definitely $1. Next time I will check before putting the items in the cart. At least I hadn’t purchased them yet. Definitely a good deal at 3 off.

  3. Christine Avila

Mine shows $3 and shows I am supposed to get $15.00 back. Just did mine right now. thanks for the post

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re so welcome!

  4. christine avila

My total was $48.98 do I have to buy something for $1.02? My total after tax was $53.91….. Does P&G include tax?

    • Amber

      No. They donโ€™t include tax.

    • christine avila

After buying all the items (all were in stock first time ever!) I received a coupon for $10.00 off my next P&G products…..

      • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

        Yay!!!!

  5. Lisa Orcutt

In my limited experience with rebates, no one includes tax.

If you get the combo right and get to the store and they canโ€™t fulfill an item, any suggestions? Iโ€™ve had this happen twice. When i cancelled i lost all my coupons.

    • Pam

I had the same thing happen to me last week with the razor deal. Online order says everything was in stock but when I picked the order up one item wasn’t available so it completely messed up what was supposed to be a $50+ order and I lost at least $20 in rewards cash. Considering returning everything just because. Had a bad experience in store yesterday but tooooo much to explain here. What I won’t do to save money!

Chat online with customer service. They will give the amount you lost in coupons in Walgreens cash. They will ask for your name, phone and order number. It is an easy process.

I love Ibolta, but there are problems. Sometimes I can not take a pic of a receipt or download it. I guess it matters who is working on that day and time.

Yeah, the Walgreens pick up is great in theory, but almost every time I have used it, it has not worked out like it was supposed to. I would spend a lot of time putting together a deal and finding a place where everything was in stock, and making sure that I was following all the rules for the cash rewards, and then they wouldn’t be able to fulfill the entire order and I would only get a small portion of the cash rewards. Or they have just cancelled the order outright and I lost all of the coupons. At the very least they should change it so that, if they cancel the order, the coupons are reinstated.
I was pretty excited when I first got back into couponing a few weeks ago, but have already had so many negative experiences, including with Ibotta that has deleted or reduced the amount of an offer weeks before the expiration date, that I am not sure that I have what it takes to deal with the unpredictability of the digital coupon world. Between never knowing if my Walgreens order is going to be fulfilled, or how many cash rewards I am actually going to get, or whether I can pick it up before Ibotta revokes an offer, there seem to be so many things that can go wrong that I am beginning to question whether it’s worth my time. If everything went right most of the time, I would definitely think so, but that hasn’t been my experience this month.

Walgreens canโ€™t give you back the coupons but they will give you back the equivalent amount in Walgreens cash. It is very easy to do. Chat online. Have your name, phone, order number, tell them the amount of coupons you lost and it will be replaced. Very easy process.

I am not seeing where the Head & Shoulders Clinical shows up as $10 off $50. It’s only showing up as $5 off $20.
I also show the Ibotta cash back for it as $1 only but has $1 bonus offer if you redeem two times.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

If you click on the link in the deal idea that has these words, “Get $10 Walgreens Cash when you spend $50 on select personal care products = $10” the Head and Shoulders is listed at the link on those pages. I found it starting on page 3 for me (there are 22 pages of products). We have also tested this deal and you do get the points. I think they don’t have both listed because the $5/$20 is already listed on the product pages.

  10. Tracy K

I did the first deal listed but forgot to ad. The spring15 code. I contacted customer service to no avail. But, I still came out ahead! I shopped through Rakuten for % cash back, used my discover card for 5% cash back, had some other promos for the month clipped in my Walgreens which gave me $25+ in Wags cash, and received I
a $10 RR and a $4 RR when I picked up the order. After rebate, submitting my receipt to Ibotta and all my other apps in addition to the rebate and p&g everyday points I came out almost $9 ahead. I think that was worth the time ๐Ÿ˜€. Thanks H2S for posting a great deal. My hubby was so happy with all his goods.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh awesome! You’re very welcome, Tracy K! Happy you could score such great savings!

  11. doelhaggan

Somehow total is $45 after coupons because I had 3 Head & Shoulders $3 coupons not just one. What do you suggest i add to make sure I get the P&G rebate? Is this going to impact the walgreens cash I receive?

    • doelhaggan

I forgot to add the Gillette but even even I did Iโ€™m still at $48.88

      • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I would add even 2 more of the Gillette shaving cream.

  12. zbills

For the rebate, does the $50 spent have to be on one receipt or it has to add up to $50, so multiple purchases?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

It needs to be on one receipt, zbills!
