All I use instead of hairspray is the texturizing sea salt spray and my waves last perfectly! My hair actually doesn’t hold curls very well, but this Wave Artist makes them last so long! I got this when it was posted back in January. I’m having trouble with it putting a crease in my hair at the top even when i press lightly and doesn’t look very natural. But my friend with naturally wavy hair can get hers to look good. I saw there is a $7 off coupon for one of the bed head wands. Maybe I should try that.
I do have this waver, maybe check to be sure you aren’t holding the section of hair you are waving, too tightly. Leave some “slack” so that it is more loosely ironed. Thanks for the heads up on the wand! I have that one too and love it! GREAT deal!
