This blender replaced a Vitamix blender which gave out after 5 years. I like that the K400 is a little smaller so it’s easy to store and use on my countertop. I have used this blender to make smoothies and Margaritas and was very happy with the results. Other reviewers have complained about the noise of the blender when in use, however it’s just as loud as a Vitamix. This is not a deal breaker. I’ve only had the blender for a few months, but I am very happy with my purchase.
I purchased this blender to replace a popular budget blender which I was not happy with. The first time I blended my morning smoothie (ice/banana/milk/protein powder), I barely heard the ice crunching and was concerned it wasn’t working. However, in less than 30 seconds, it had blended perfectly with NO chunks of ice at all, and it’s much less noisy than my previous blender. Another feature I’m impressed with is the cleaning mode, so easy.
We’ve got the perfect drink to try as soon as you get your new blender!
“People complain about the noise?” Quiet blenders do not have the strength to make a smoothie. You need at least 1200 watts or they are a waste.
