This is my first Chromebook. If you are looking for the very best one for your money, I recommend this one highly. Not only is it great looking, and really thin and therefore very portable, it’s very sturdy. The feel of it is not cheap and in no way feels flimsy.
The speakers are incredible, I’ve never owned a laptop with speakers this good! The screen is amazing. It’s very bright & clear, and when you are using the touch capabilities (I came from the original Surface Pro, so for years I’m used to scrolling and touching via the screen, preferring to bypass the touchpad) the screen isn’t too super-slick or too super-sticky; it feels good.
The battery life is awesome. I charged it to 100% when I first got it home, and I think I put about 9-10 hours into it before I got to 7% last night and decided to charge. And, the convertible aspect is great!
Love Chromebooks, they are simple and fast, and snappy for any use you would have nowadays. Has a nice display, widescreen, backlit keyboard, and runs super fast and smooth. Recommended for anyone buying a Chromebook! It does take maybe a month to get used to the different OS and learn the shortcut keys and mouse movements, but once you do you’ll never go back!
Got this deal! Would love to hear from those who have this Chromebook.
I’m thinking about getting this one to replace my older (I think 2015) Toshiba Chromebook. I got a notification saying they are going to stop updates in September. I’m not really sure if I will like or utilize the flip part or not or if my kids will just break it!
I don’t think you can use word, powerpoint .. on Chrome books, not ideal for students
