Here’s a good tip these planters are very crowded to make them look full but they get easily root bound. Soak it till the dirt is soft, tilt the pot and gently remove the plants in sections you can easily get three – 4 new pots out of one and they spread back quickly too. Also if you get different varieties swap half of each for a color variation- just watch keep sun plants together – and shade plants together

What a great tip! Thanks, Angela! I actually just purchased one of these yesterday! 🙌

    • Ann

My hanging pots contained 6 separate plants so I was able to tear each one apart and add to several planters. It won’t take long for the plants to fill out.

Pansies and violas can’t tolerate hot weather so don’t buy those. Zinnias don’t belong Ng in hanging pots so leave those too. If you want zinnias in your flower beds they are the easiest flower to grow from seeds.

Thanks, Lana! Good to know what flowers do best in which environment. 💗
