Every week through the month of August, head on into your local DSW store where they are hosting their Give-Back Get-Back Days and offering DSW VIP Rewards Members (free to join) a $10 reward toward their next purchase when you bring in a pair of new or gently worn shoes to donate.
You are allowed to donate one pair of shoes per week which means you can snag up to a whopping $40 to spend toward your next purchase! Note that the $10 reward will be issued as 200 points per weekly donation and your points balance must be above 0 to receive the reward.

I did this on Wednesday! Brought a pair of baby boots in and received a credit on my rewards account. Super easy and took a few minutes

Whenever my youngest grows out of a pair of shoes (and they’re still in good shape) I keep them in a bag so I can bring a pair of shoes for points whenever I head to DSW
Great idea! I’m gonna start keeping the old kiddos shoes in the car, because I am always stopping by DSW on the random, and kicking myself when I see the sign about donations!
For anyone who has done this: do they prefer if you bring them in a bag, in the original shoe box if you still have it or it doesn’t really matter? I definitely want to but I’ve never donated there before so I’m just curious 🙂
When I did this on Monday, I took mine in the original box…but I saw some in the donation bins that were in plastic grocery bags.

I’ve been donating shoes for years LOL. After my mom passed I used to take a pair of her shoes in every time I went past DSW. The shoes go to Soles4Souls which is a very good charity and I know she would want to support them. Back they you could donate once per day and get 50points.
You don’t have to have the shoes in a bag or box. Some stores just have you drop them in the box as is, others will give you a bag to put them in.
If I donate shoes 4 times during this promotion, Can I take $40 off a purchase at one time or would I need to make.4 purchases and take $10 off each? (Planning to donate either way but would make the extra trips if I can max the reward on one purchase)
I have never heard of this and I have been a VIP for a long time. Wish I had read about this 1st of August.
