I have been looking and debating for a year about getting an auto-open trash can. Most are pretty expensive and require a lot of batteries to operate the lid. When I found this one at a great price and only two batteries were needed I finally made the purchase. It as stylish as the more expensive ones and works great without the expense of having to purchase a lot of batteries. I definitely recommend buying

Great motion sensor trash can for half the price of others! I’d been looking for an affordable motion sensor kitchen trash can, especially in white, to go with my white kitchen, and this fits the bill 1000%! It is not completely quiet-it makes a mewing kitten sound open and closing, but to me, it’s unobtrusive. It’s a perfect size, and I like having the removable ring instead of having to haul out the entire inner liner – that’s a great design feature. I’m so happy with this item!
