Happy Friday Reader wearing gloves to clean a plant

This reader has a smart and affordable cleaning hack! 🪴

We love hearing about cleaning hacks and this week’s Happy Friday reader, Tracey, has a very clever one to share! She uses Microfiber Dusting gloves to clean hard to reach places. You can scoop up a 3-pack for yourself for under $9 – that’s less than $3 per pair!

Here’s Tracey’s story!

Happy Friday Reader using gloves to clean a plant

“When my sister told me about these microfiber dusting gloves, I ordered a set that day. I mainly wanted them for dusting my larger plants (ZZ and Fiddle Leaf Fig) as I’m always afraid of breaking the leaves off them. The worked like a charm! They do work well on furniture too; it’s much easier to get the corners dusted and since the gloves are microfiber, the dust doesn’t just fly around. I don’t use chemical sprays for cleaning so these help out in that respect.”

“On Amazon, they are priced at $7.99 for a set of three right now; regularly $8.99, and they come in several color choices including a set in Christmas colors in case you need stocking stuffers!! I decided to order size large even though I normally get size small as I wasn’t sure of the fit. They are quite stretchy which makes them comfortable to wear and I’m glad I went with the larger size.

(I am not sure why the company decided to list them with the wording “gloves for women” as they will definitely fit my husband when it’s his turn to dust!!)”

Awesome tip, Tracey! 🙌

Anything that makes cleaning easier is music to our ears! 🎶 We hate when the dust flies around the room instead of sticking to the duster, so we love this smart cleaning hack! Thank you so much for writing in to tell us your trick and alert us to the sale! I may have to scoop up a 3-pack for myself!

Same here! I’ll have to give this a try too! 🤗

I didn’t know those gloves were a thing! It’s funny though because when I saw the picture they looked like regular fuzzy gloves that are always available during the fall/winter. Those seasonal winter gloves are always easy to find for a buck or 2 in the less than desirable colors so I might just stock up next fall/winter and use them as dusting gloves.

Right!? I didn’t know this either, but such a great idea! 🙌❤️
