I sent in one some mths back, i thought it’d be a good tip for us to use to help our parents and disabled relatives, a lot of the retired and disabled with the redwhiteandblue medicare card who also choose a medicare advantage plan during enrollment period during the end of each year, they have a benefit on that medicare advantage, i guess what I should backtrack, make sure they have a free or cheap medicare advantage plan, a lot of elderly are skipping the free or cheap plan for prescription dental vision coverage—-but anyways many of the medicare advantage plans offer $100-$200 per quarter for medical items from a selection of fsa items. That’s $400-$800 a year of free medical stuff, plus prescription dental vision coverage, many also get an allowance for vision and a low vision visit copay. I think whoever reviewed my post just didn’t understand that it is a legit national plan for all retirees and disabled, go thru medicare dot gov for info, don’t just google it and find random insurance companies trying to sell stuff—-look for the enrollemtn period that just end, maybe it was oct something thru dec 15th, too late to enroll now unless a life change exists, otherwise be ready for next oct——sad to go to the vision place and a lady didn’t realize she was overlooking a good program for her elderly mother that she was helping care for who was a vision patient that day—-and on very low income, those retired and disabled may qualify for free redwhiteandblue medicare thru social services instead of paying the $166ish that all retirees and disabled have to pay for medical hospital coverage—-i even had included pics of what is purchased for the benefits——-plus new pieces to the medicare advantage comeout next year for some, we’ve chosen the additional $500 card for annual fsa products in the past, but they are offering $600 towards utilties as a choice instead next year—-we’ve also used the 31 visits from a home caregiver when my nana first got ill, it went into effect faster than getting any other home care help.
Thanks for sharing the details of your submission, Justina! We sure appreciate the helpful information! 🥰
