IHOP is Selling Elf on the Shelf Pancakes & Funnel Cake (And Kids Can Eat Free)
The Elf on the Shelf is coming to a restaurant near you!
For a limited time at IHOP, you can now order breakfast from a holiday menu inspired by the Elf on the Shelf. These seasonal menu items will be here until January 2020, and they include Jolly Cakes, Oh What Funnel Cakes, a Holiday Ham & Sausage Omelette, and Merry Marshmallow Hot Chocolate.
Best of all – your little elves can try it for FREE!
Now through January 1st, kids 12 and under get a FREE entrée from the kids menu with the purchase of one adult entrée, every day from 4-10 PM.
To help make sure that everyone at IHOP is on his or her best behavior, IHOP restaurants have each adopted their own Scout Elf. Guests are encouraged to try to find the Scout Elf in different hiding spots every day, watching closely for any mischief that the elf may cause.
Here’s a preview of what the Elf on the Shelf is cooking up at IHOP this holiday season…
Jolly Cakes – Four fluffy green pancakes topped with sweet cream cheese icing, whipped topping, and shimmery elf sprinkles that resemble elf-sized ornaments. Also available as a side item.
Oh What Funnel Cakes – Two golden, crispy funnel cakes, lightly dusted with powdered sugar and topped with glazed strawberries, whipped topping, and shimmery elf sprinkles.
Holiday Ham & Sausage Omelette – A fluffy omelette loaded with diced ham & sausage, fire-roasted peppers & onions, hash browns, and Jack & Cheddar cheese, then topped with more diced ham & sausage, Cheddar cheese, and White Cheddar cheese sauce. Served with three pancakes or a choice of side.
Merry Marshmallow Hot Chocolate – Rich hot chocolate flavored with toasted marshmallow syrup and topped with whipped topping and shimmery elf sprinkles.
Little Elves Combo – Choice of 1 Jolly Cake topped with cream cheese icing, whipped topping, and sprinkles or 1 Oh What Funnel Cake topped with powdered sugar, whipped topping, and sprinkles with 1 scrambled egg, 1 bacon strip, and 1 pork sausage link.
Black Friday is coming! Here’s everything we know so far…
If these are anything like the Grinch pancakes and hot chocolate last year, they will be delicious!! Had the grinch cakes 3 times and now Im looking forward to trying these! 🙂 Thanks for the details.
YUM! You’re so welcome! I didn’t get a chance to try those! Hope you love these items too!
Is there a limit of just 1 child per 1 adult? I have 5 kids under 11 so just curious. Thanks.
yes, one free kids meal for every adult entree
VERY cute! Just be careful – cannot combine with any other discounts means, if you are dining with a senior and they order off the senior menu, they consider that a discount. My mom ordered a smaller meal off of the senior menu one night with me and my 2 boys and they charged us full price for the rest of the mean (no free kids meals because they said the senior menu was already a discount). She got something like $1.75 off the regular price of a non-senior meal (vs saving the entire cost of 2 kids meals). Anyway, just beware. They were NOT very friendly when we told them to revise the bill, charge us full price for the “senior” meal and then discount the two kids meals. I wrote into IHop about it to tell them they should make this clearer (that senior meals count as discounts) and they never responded. 🙁
*meal, not mean.
Sorry to hear about that. Thanks so much for the helpful warning! Good to know!
I love this idea! I never would have known about this-thanks for sharing. What fun!
I agree, so fun DH!
We went to our IHOP and they told us the kids eat free promo ended for the year on November 3rd 🙁
