This is the coolest gift for any Harry Potter fanatic!! Who doesn’t want to feel like they have a real life magical wand!? My techy son is all about this coding craze type stuff. And this has kept him busy for hours!
I am a huge Harry potter fan and was so excited to get this. The wand is sturdy and looks nice! The app is easy to install. The application is kind of glitchy. It is a lot of fun, but also very educational in regards to coding and computers.
My daughter was so excited to play the game and I was surprised to see how easy it was for her to start coding. The first challenge is simple and it begins to build as you go along. I have no coding experience and I found the instructions to be easy to follow. My daughter was having lot of fun using the wand. The wand functions very well and it is educational and creates magic while kids learn to code. I would recommend.
This toy teaches kids how to code. Now I’m an adult who knows nothing about coding so I thought it would be fun to do this with my daughter. The wand is pretty cool and the app is nicely laid out. My child enjoyed playing/learning.
I had my eye on this. Would love to know if anyone has this and likes it.
The 25% off toy coupon works on this too – ordered one today.
Thank you for the reminder, Mary! We’ve updated the post to include that! 🙂
The text link takes me to a broken page and I’ve tried different browsers. Anyone else have this issue?
What age range is this listed for?
Yay! Was able to grab this one😁 my daughter isn’t much into Harry Potter but she loves magic and is just learning coding at school. Thanks so much!
I purchased a wand for my GT class. Wand is sturdy but application is very glitchy. Instructions are easy to understand but you have to be precise. Definitely for older elementary (3-6 graders)
Got this for my daughter last year. Hooked it up to her iPad. Thought she would love it, two of her fave things. It doesn’t work too well, wouldn’t purchase again.
Darn! Thanks so much for the honest comment! We sure appreciate the feedback!
