KFC-Inspired Crocs and Chicken-Scented Jibbitz Are Coming this Spring
Crocs is cooking up deep-fried fashion that would make the Colonel proud! 👨🦳🍗
Crocs are well-known for being comfortable slip-on shoes that are perfect for strolling along the beach or just shuffling to your mailbox. With such a wide variety of styles, colors, and sizes available, you would think that there’s already a pair of Crocs out there for everyone. Apparently not, because Crocs is now partnering with KFC to ensure that there’s a shoe for fried chicken lovers too. (No joke!)
KFC announced this week that it is working with Crocs to create shoes inspired by its iconic buckets of chicken. There will be two versions of the KFC-inspired Crocs. The first is a very wearable classic clog, which is adorned with a fried chicken print on top and the KFC bucket’s familiar red and white stripes on the bottom.
The best part of these shoes, in our chicken-loving opinion, is the fact that included are two removable chicken-scented Jibbitz, which are made in the three-dimensional shape of actual KFC drumsticks. They must smell finger-licking good, because the brand would like to remind us that Jibbitz are not for human consumption.
The second style of KFC-inspired Crocs is the high-fashion Bucket Clog, which features a precarious-looking 4.5-inch platform. Mercifully, these Crocs will not be available for sale to the public. They did make an appearance during New York Fashion Week, though.
The KFC classic clogs will be available for purchase this spring for $59.99 on Crocs.com. If wearing a bucket of chicken on your feet is on your bucket list, then you’ll have to be fast to get a pair! These statement shoes are sure to sell out quickly.
