Through December 31st, Jansport is giving a 20% discount to healthcare workers, first responders and members of the US military.
This discount applies to doctors, nurses, technicians, medical researchers, hospital workers, EMTs, firefighters, police, and active, reservist, veteran, and retired U.S. military personnel, spouses, and dependents of active personnel.
To verify your eligibility for this discount, head on over here and follow the link for your profession. You’ll then be directed to SheerID, where you’ll verify your ID and receive a single-use promo code to be used on JanSport.com. You should receive your code within 24 hours. *Note that there may be a 20 minute+ delay to activate your code, once it is sent.
This discount can be used once every 30 days, but you’ll need a new promo code each time. When you’re ready to shop again, you can re-verify your status to receive a new promo code. Sale items, clearance, and gift cards are excluded from this promotion.

Mine was approved instantly and my code worked without issue. This is the first deal I’ve used for medical workers and the first time I’ve had to verify my ID. I’m curious how it actually knows?!?
My 3 boys have had the same Jansport bookbags since they started school. The original Superbreak version, which was great for the lower grades. Now that they are in high school and soon moving off to college it is a great time to Expand into the Big Student Size. I used this deal to buy 3 Big Student Bookbags and a Hatchet Bag for myself (I like day hiking and going to coffee shops). Nothing wrong with the Jansport bags they have had for up to 11 years, just moving up in size. You cannot beat Jansport warranty. I haven’t had to use it but it’s nice knowing it’s there. I used a big student bag for nursing school for my crazy amount of oversized books, it was fantastic.
