  I wore mine on a 3 mile hike (unplanned) as had no issues. I’ve had foot surgeries and they have never bothered my feet.

  Do you find them to be heavy? I looked at them recently for camping, but they seemed heavy compared to other brand in similar styles.

  I don’t think they’re necessarily heavy, but they’re not as lifhtweight as some others. However, these are incredibly versatile – camp, hike, go in and out of the water – and the soles are very sturdy, so the but of extra bulk is worth it.

  They are THE BEST! We travel a ton and we first used these on a Grand Tetons trip after seeing that all the fishing/rafting guides wear them. Literally all of them – that says a lot!

   I have had a pair of these chaco shoes for almost 16 years my husband got them for me when we were first married and I absolutely love them! They have been one of the best investments we made on shoes! Buying him a pair .

   I didn’t like the pair I bought. Got them for a cruise and the bottom texture rubbed my feet raw. They were heavy also.

   I am size 8.5 in a sneaker. Should I order a 8 or 9? Do they run true to size? Some of my shoes are size 8
