My kids love this ride on, and the functioning tailgate. Well worth the money in my opinion. All 4 of my littles have used and abused this. We’ve had it approximately 3 years, and it still charges and works very well. Just to let anyone know who may be on the fence! 👍

Aww, Glad to hear it has been a hit with your kiddos! Thanks a bunch for taking a moment to comment.

We have several ride on toys, this one is so much slower than the others with the same size battery, I’m guessing due to the large size. It also broke after a year of use because the front axle piece that turns the wheel cracked because it’s made of plastic. We just bought a Dump truck ride on and it’s axle is made of metal.

Oh bummer! Sorry to hear about that, Amanda. Thanks for sharing your experience!

If you got a handy husband or maybe wife, you can switch out the battery that comes with these things for a $30 battery from Amazon and they run for days without having to recharge. Makes it so much better since most of these only for for like 4-5 hours after a charge.

You are right! A handy husband can also repaint it and add a faster motor and upgrade the battery to make it work for “bigger” kids. Lol I’m speaking from experience, since that’s what I ended up doing! Haha!

With four kids, we have had several ride one. We had 2 power wheels and 2 Peg Perego…this one is by far our favorite! It is durable, the battery lasts forever, and it worked for years!! It is definitely worth the price if you’re looking for a long lasting toy!

Thanks for the great review! Happy this one has held up so well!
