Anyone try this one?
We have had the 4Ever since they came out. All my kids have had them. We like them. Haven’t tried the slim fit though.
Can anyone recommend a cheap harness seat for a 55lb 51″ or so child? Ease of use and comfort and size are not an issue.
I have Graco nautilus my 7 year old rides in with a 5 point harness and love it want to get another one for my 4, year old
My daughter has rode in it fo 10 hrs to the beach no complaints
I was looking at the Graco Tranzitions for my (big) 5 year old. It’s on sale at Target for $90.
The only harnessed seats that may work for a child that is 51″ tall would be the evenflo sureride, harmony defender or chicco myfit. Those all have 54″+ standing height limit but you need to make sure the harness comes from above their shoulders as well. I highly recommend joining the fb group carseats for the littles. They are super helpful with advice.
Thanks for the advice everyone. I ask here because carseat advocates are pricks. I just need a cheap seat lol
I understand sometimes it comes across in a rude tone (which isn’t most of our intentions) from carseat advocates (like me) but unfortunately asking advice here isn’t always great. The two graco seats the others recommended have a 49″ standing height limit in harnessed mode so they won’t work for you. We just like helping kids be safe 🙂 Just to add, it helps if you get a seated shoulder height from the kiddo to see if the seats I recommended will work. The sureride has 19″ top slots and the defender has 18.5″ top slots. They are the cheapest harnessed options.
Is this good for newborns? Can you remove the car seat to carry the baby around?
The 4Ever does NOT come out of the car. I’ve preferred the regular infant seats and then switch to the convertible, like the 4Ever, once they are a bit bigger.
Thank you for your response. I needed clarity on this😁
