- A one-year position working w/ the Murphy Goode team from roughly September 2021 to August 2022 in Sonoma
- Shadow winemaker Dave Ready Jr. for the first 90-days of employment
- A year of free rent in Sonoma County
- 30 cases of wine
- The annual salary is $120,000 – $10,000 a month
This job requires a little more than just being aged to perfection…
- Must be at least 21 years of age, a legal resident, and authorized to work in the USA.
- A valid government-issued photo ID for substantial travel that may be required
- Able to repetitively lift 50+ lbs.
- Requires the availability to work flexible hours and weekends, when necessary. No overtime pay is available.

The repeatedly lifting 50lbs, flexible schedule with weekends and no overtime makes me wonder what the job is, though…they could just be paying well for a horrible job 😂 It definitely doesn’t sound like you’re going to get paid to lounge around drinking wine!!

This is a job, it’s going to have taxes. The lucky person will live rent free, basically get 1 bottle of wine a day and 10k a month. Even with taxes, it’s one heck of a “deal”. Even if they took 50% in taxes that’s still 60k a year, rent free and free wine… Thanks hip team, this sounds like fun even to just apply!

It used to be, you were exempt from USA taxes if you worked overseas. I believe this was changed in 2009.
I wouldn’t go anywhere as you may get covid and not be able to return home, unless you cross the border illegally.
