Target shoppers, here’s your reminder to put one of our favorite shopping hacks to work!

Keeping Target’s price match policy in mind can be a total game changer when it comes to shopping big sales like the upcoming Target Deal Days during June 23–26, with Circle 360 members getting early access to select deals starting Monday, June 22nd.

Target offers a 14-Day Price Match Guarantee. If you purchase an eligible item and Target lowers its own price within 14 days of your purchase, you can request a price adjustment and get refunded the difference. The lower price can be from Target.com, your local Target store, or an eligible Target Circle offer.

If you spot something expected to go on sale during the upcoming Target Deal Days, consider grabbing it now while inventory is still good, then request a refund for the difference once the sale goes live. That means less stress, fewer sellout worries, and a better chance of actually getting what you want at the sale price! 🙌🏼

Here’s how to price match at Target:

Store purchase: Stop by a store and bring proof of the Target price you want to match within 14 days of purchase (screenshots or pictures don’t count).

Online purchase: Chat online or call guest services at 1-800-591-3869 within 14 days of purchase and have the current price you want to match ready.

Note that Target no longer price matches competitors like Amazon or Walmart, so the lower price must be offered by Target itself. Some exclusions apply, including clearance items, Target GiftCard promotions, and Target Circle Bonus offers. See full details of the price match policy on Target.com.

Hip Tip (from reader Maggie): Target.com can often be cheaper than your local Target store’s price on identical items but to track it while shopping inside the store, you MUST NOT connect to the Target guest wifi and MUST turn-off location services for the Target app. Basically, if your phone knows you’re in a Target store, it may serve up the store prices, not the cheaper online prices.
