Old Spice & Secret Aerosol Deodorants Recalled Due to Presence of Cancer-Causing Chemical
Do you have Old Spice or Secret deodorant in your bathroom cabinets?
P&G has recalled 18 varieties of Old Spice and Secret aerosol deodorants after a human carcinogen, benzene, was detected. While the levels of benzene aren’t expected to cause adverse health effects, P&G has opted to be cautious and voluntarily recall the affected products.
In high levels, benzene does have the potential to cause certain cancers, including leukemia and blood cancer of the bone marrow, and blood disorders that can be life-threatening.
If you have any of these following deodorants below, P&G advises to stop using immediately and discard them.
