Seriously can’t ask for much more from this simple label maker. It’s cheap and it does its job. Another reviewer on here recommended adding a space before or after your word to make it even– I highly recommend doing that or else you’re going to have to bust out a pair of scissors as you’re labeling to center your text.
Press hard or it may not press through all the way, so I hold it for about 1-2 seconds before moving on to the next letter. The letters may not line up perfectly straight, and I’m sure that will bother people, but I like it cause it gives it a bit of a whimsical look.
Makes some great labels that look great for a ton of projects. It’s different than using a modern label maker, and you can’t see what you’ve “typed,” right away, but for a dirt-cheap way to label your toolbox, Arduino/RPI enclosures, or home network drives, it works awesome. If you need a label that can be out in a garage that will get hot in the summer and NOT turn all black like the thermal tape from a modern label maker seems to do, this is what you need.
