Messy purse? I may have a solution for you…
I know, I know. How is it even possible for a bag to get so messy?! I’m not even talking about all the junk in your purse. I mean the crumbs, the dirt, and all debris! It’s unintentional yet so out of hand. Sometimes I don’t even know how it’s possible for a small purse to get as “dirty” as mine does, and I know I’m not alone. 😬
Considering how filthy it gets, you may have wondered how to clean a purse lining or a purse in general. That’s where this little cleaning ball comes in. I tried out this bag-cleaning ball that claims to solve this issue for you. From what I’ve experienced, it’s made all the difference!
Sauberkugel – The Clean Ball – $10.29+ (regularly $12.99)
Honestly, I didn’t even know that something like this existed, but thank goodness it does! As someone who is always on the go, I don’t even know how it’s possible for my bags to get as messy as they do. The size of this little cleaning ball is perfect to just throw in and let take care of the mess.
This little invention is made in Germany, with “Sauberkugel” literally translating to “clean ball”. It’s also made of 100% recycled material, which is always a cause we’re looking to get behind. On the surface, $12.99 may seem a little steep for such a small thing, but the value exceeds the price tag; I’ve honestly never really seen anything like this before; it’s so simple yet unique!
It comes in two colors, pink and black, and is a pretty adorable accessory. Since it’s so tiny, it can arguably fit in any bag both big and small, and takes up next to no room! It’s great for all ages, and I can even imagine this being good for your little one’s backpacks that just inevitably get filled with debris. This might just finally be the answer to how to clean a purse lining!
It’s super simple; just throw this cleaning ball in your purse and go on about your day.
If you feel like it’s not getting enough of the mess, you can actually squeeze it for the inner sticky ball to come out of the case. Once you open it, just roll it around your purse. This has somehow become my favorite pastime. 😆
When the ball cleaner has done its job, it’s not a pretty sight. 😳
Trigger warning…this is horrifying! I seriously can’t believe I carried around this mess with me every day without even noticing. The ball cleaner didn’t pick up everything, but it definitely transformed the condition of my purse!
This obviously isn’t vacuum-level accuracy, and, of course, there is still some debris leftover. However, I think this is a pretty awesome job for everyday use, especially since I’m not doing anything! I just throw it in my purse, go on about my day, and take it out when I get home.
I’ve been trying this out for a couple of weeks now and am pretty blown away by how manageable having this product has been. Are my purses pristine? No, but they are much cleaner than before with ZERO effort!
Cleaning the cleaning ball is just as easy!
It’s super easy to clean this ball. You literally just rinse it under running water for a few seconds, and it once again looks the way it did fresh out of the packaging. The more you clean it, the better your purse becomes. Think of it as a lint roller in the shape of a ball!
This cleaning ball now goes with me everywhere!
Even if I’m switching purses, I always bring this thing with me. It is the easiest way to make my bags less look a little less hectic without lifting a finger.
Anyone who regularly carries a bag, even men with briefcases, backpacks, or laptop bags, could benefit. It also could make a great Mother’s Day or Father’s Day gift. Simple yet effective!
In the market for a new suitcase? We’re loving these Pioneer Woman suitcases from Walmart!
Isnt it amazing how yucky the bottom of your bag can get tho LOL. I remember cleaning out my purse one time and finding a coupon that had expired 2 years previous. I was ashamed but my “helpful” bf made it “better” by saying “holy cow sometimes coupons you get dont expire for a year- you could have had that in there about 3 years”. Great observation….🙄🤦🏼♀️
This sounds like a potential game changer for the disgustingness that lives at the bottom of my son’s backpack!!!
Such a great idea …. My kids back packs always get that way I am always dumping them over the garbage and shaking everything out… 🙂
I would think in the heat of Texas this would melt & turn in slime in your purse
