1. When we asked readers about great curling irons, The Beachwaver was by far the most mentioned.
Beachwaver B1 Midnight Rose Rotating Curling Iron – $99
Use promo code HIP2SAVE for an additional 20% OFF
Final cost just $79.20!
Sara recently got a chance to try the gorgeous Beachwaver Curling Iron and she had a lot of great things to say about it. Not only is the barrel a pretty shade of pink, but the barrel rotates itself doing all the curling for you!
One of the reasons she thought it stood out from other curling wands is that it starts the curl at the bottom of her hair instead of the top. As a result, her ends look much more polished. Plus, the ceramic-coated barrel protects her hair from heat damage! She thought this curling iron was pretty cool, and many Hip2Save readers ranked it as their very favorite!
“I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Beachwaver. I’ve had it for almost a year and it’s my favorite styling tool.” – Nicole, Hip2Save reader
“I LOVE my Beachwaver! I can curl my hair and it lasts for DAYS with minimal touch-ups periodically. I have thick, wavy hair and only wash it every 5-6 days, FYI. Their purple shampoo is AMAZING too!!” – Brooke, Hip2Save reader
“I have one I bought many months ago, and I have to say that I absolutely love it! I can do my hair within 20 minutes or so with this thing! And I have fine hair but a lot of it, and use heat protection before using it and then a little bit of hairspray to hold the curls longer and will “touch” up when my curls/waves become flat. I highly recommend this thing, for sure.” – Silja, Hip2Save reader
“I have a Beachwaver and just tried it for the first time and I LOVE it!!” – Melinda, Hip2Save team
“Will never go without one now!” – Niki, Hip2Save reader

Hip2Save readers raved about their L’ange curling irons. The Le Duo and Le Duo Grande were both mentioned as being exceptional. These lightweight styling tools can both straighten or curl your hair. What makes them unique is that they come with studded air vents that release cool air to lock your style.

“L’ange Le Duo Grande curling iron cools as it curls. It’s fantastic and I’m completely obsessed. Holds my curls for days.” – Ashley, Hip2Save reader
“I have quite a few curling irons/rods, wavers, and straighteners but the Le Duo is by far my favorite. I have fine, thin hair and that is the only tool that really does keep curls for days. Got it on a great sale at Ulta for $44!” – Lori, Hip2Save reader
“L’ange. My hair is heavy and long. This is the first curling rod to curl my hair and have it stay curled.” – Lisa, Hip2Save reader
4. The affordable Conair INFINITIPRO is tried and true!
INFINITIPRO By Conair Nano Tourmaline Ceramic Curling Iron – $25.97+ (regularly $29.99+)
Conair is one of the most recognizable names in styling tools today… and for good reason. The company offers affordable and effective curling irons. It was no surprise that multiple Hip2Save readers mentioned Conair as their favorite brand for curling irons!
The one above heats up super fast and uses Nano technology to keep your hair shiny and frizz-free. Meanwhile, the ceramic evenly distributes heat for consistent and defined curls. The lip and handle can sometimes catch hair, so you need to be careful when using it, but for the cost, this curling iron works really well. You’ll love the results AND the price!

- 5 different precision LED heat settings
- Automatic safety shutoff
- Heats up in 30 seconds
- Easy-glide ceramic surface
- Long-lasting curls
5. Our team would love to get our hands on a Dyson Airwrap.
The price tag may be hefty, but we’ve heard this is the styling tool worth the splurge. Most everyone who has used it mentions how much healthier their hair feels. The tool comes with several attachments so you can dry, straighten, and curl your hair.
What makes this innovative curling iron unique is that it uses air to curl your hair. This aerodynamic phenomenon, called the Coanda effect, allows the curling iron to use less heat and curl hair both clockwise and counterclockwise for a voluminous look. This styling tool even uses cold air to set your style and it can eliminate up to 58% of frizz and flyaways. 🙌
“My hair has been much healthier since I started using the Dyson Airwrap. Sometimes I blow dry with it and use a Chi flat iron.” – Melanie, Hip2Save reader
“Amazing! I find it hard to keep my hair styled for long without it turning dry/frizzy, and this product not only keeps my hair fabulous with salon-quality + shine, but it also eliminates frizz & maintains it all day long. My hair is much healthier now than other hair tools which overheat and dry my hair out. It’s a one-stop shop for everything you need, without a doubt worth the splurge. The only hair tool I use now!” – Kess, product reviewer
