Own a Ring Doorbell? Add FREE Halloween Chimes, Replies & More for Spooky Front Door Vibes
If you have a Ring Video Doorbell, you can now enable Halloween sounds that include bewitching Chime Tones and Halloween-themed messages for trick-or-treaters and anyone else who approaches your door.
You can even switch up the look of your Ring with a fun seasonal faceplate – no witchcraft needed!
Don’t have a Ring Video Doorbell yet? There’s still plenty of time to get in on the fun in time for Halloween. Even better, select Ring Video Doorbells are 20% off now through October 22!
Here’s how to use your Ring to amp up your home’s spooky spirit this Halloween…
Add Halloween Quick Replies for your guests.
Ring has a selection of free Halloween-themed Quick Messages available for you to pick from. When activated, your guests will hear the prerecorded message of your choice when you can’t answer the door.
Take this opportunity to let visitors know you’re on your way to greet them, or warn them that your house is haunted!
Change your Chime Tone to something a little more haunting.
Don’t let your Ring’s cheerful chime kill the ghoulish vibe of your front porch on Halloween! If you have a Ring Chime or Chime Pro, you can choose a spine-tingling Halloween Chime Tone in the app to give your guests a good scare.
Even if you don’t have a Chime or Chime Pro, you can still select a Halloween-themed tone as the notification sound for the Ring App on your phone.
Give your Ring a spooktacular makeover with a fun new faceplate for Halloween.
If you have a Ring Video Doorbell 2, 3, 3 Plus, or 4, you can dress it up with a special edition Halloween print faceplate. Add some festive fall flair to your Ring with one of these seasonal designs!
Don’t forget to charge your battery!
If your Ring is battery-powered, don’t forget to make sure it’s fully charged before Halloween! All the extra activity of trick-or-treaters visiting your front door will drain your battery faster than usual.
Check out this article for battery charging tips, or grab an extra battery pack to keep on hand as a backup.
The Google Nest doorbells do this too. They are called “Doorbell Themes” and can be found in the Google home app under the doorbell settings.
Sweet! Thanks so much for sharing, MadisonS! Such a fun feature for these doorbells! 🎃🎄🤗
