I have a washing tub that’s made of compressed granite. This surface has been a challenge in the past because the suction-type hanger would not hold onto this surface. I picked this set because the item description stated it would work on marble. And it does.
The large and small baskets actually differ only slightly in size. The basket is made of heavy-duty wires. The wires are coated so they would not rust easily and are easy to clean. They’re designed to hold larger bottles in the shower. So it’s a little too large for the kitchen sink. However, I do have a lot of things that need to go in. So this works for me.
I followed instructions and installed this. The adhesive strip does stick on the compressed granite surface. I have been using this with sponges and a small bottle of detergent for a few weeks. The adhesive strip does get wet, a lot, yet it’s been hanging on well. I am tempted to try this on the shower glass next. So far, this item works as described.

These were super awesome for about a month before they came crashing down 🤦🏻♀️😂If you get them, just put light stuff-it didn’t hold up to our shampoo and body washes.

Thanks for sharing about your honest experience with owning these, Kaylee! 💞 It does seem that they are intended to hold up to 40lbs, but I’d imagine that it may depend on the type of shower wall you’re adhering to, and maybe even how the items are arranged. Good to know that it may be better for lighter items, like you mentioned. I’m considering snagging a set to try out myself because so many of my items end up watered down in the path of the shower head. 😬❤️
