Hip Readers love their AARP membership benefits!
We joined AARP last year simply because we get a discount through our cell phone provider, AT&T. I believe it waives our upgrade fees + gives us $10 off per line/month. It was well worth it for that alone to sign up.
We also have been getting the $10/month credit on our AT&T cell phone account for a few years now. $120 off a year on a cell phone bill is certainly worth the cost of an AARP membership. I do use the coupons/discounts at Walgreens and occasionally use the discount for hotel rooms.
We signed up a few months ago too! You can buy gift cards at a discount on their website… we were specifically interested in the discounted Carnival cards! 🤗
On the first Tuesday of each month, Walgreens offers 20% off of any non-sale item. It’s available to seniors and anyone holding an AARP membership. I’ve been able to combine this 20% off with the dollar value coupons (for example the $7 off $25).
The day bag is a good size and pretty cute. The trunk organizer is meh
Thanks for letting us know your honest opinion on each of these items, Hipgrandma! 💞 Sounds like the bag is a solid choice for a freebie! 🙌
Went threw Rakuten over 30 days ago, deal was join, get 22.50 back, sent them many emails proving I was now a member, after they asked me too, gave them more than they asked for, told me they will not give me the 22.50 untill they hear from AARP,never had this happen to me,just letting people know, they scam. Love Hip2Save…
Sorry to hear about the trouble with Rakuten, Lisa. Just a heads up, our links are separate from their program, as Hip2Save includes trusted partner and affiliate links across many deal posts, which may earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you. 🤗 Fingers crossed they sort this out soon so you can get the cashback you’re owed. 🤞 Thanks for letting us know about your experience – and your kind words about Hip! ❤️
All good,nothing you did… I trust Hip2Save.Thanks.
You bet, Lisa! ❤️❤️
