If you’re still wondering – are inflatable hot tubs worth it? Here are a few things to consider:
- Inflatable hot tubs are not the same as your child’s kiddie pool. Instead, they are made with UV-resistant materials such as latex or vinyl, often 3-ply or more so they do not easily rip or tear.
- You don’t need ANY special equipment outside of a garden hose and outlet.
- Some blow up hot tubs have a digital panel to easily control the temperature, air jets, heating, and filtration all in one place.
- Portable hot tubs do not come with built-in seats, but they are available for purchase and won’t puncture the bottom.
And learning how to clean an inflatable hot tub couldn’t be easier!
If you want to prolong the life of your portable inflatable hot tub, you must know how to properly maintain it. You should regularly drain, clean, and refill your hot tub to keep it clean and hygienic, including before you store it away for winter.
Consider investing in some microfiber cloths as these are best to wipe down the outside of your tub, plus you can use them for cleaning all around the house!
For stubborn stains, you may use a mild detergent, but AVOID using it on the inside of your tub as this may create suds. You should also avoid using any abrasive cleaning tools. Other than that, there’s no special care needed unless you’d like to purchase a special hot tub cleaner spray, and be sure to let it dry completely before storing your blow up hot tub!

We got the Coleman Salina Spa for Christmas last year and I absolutely love it! You wonโt regret it!
Aww, thanks for the recommendation on that one, Jenn! ๐๐๐ SO happy you’ve been loving it!
We bought a Saluspa St. Moritz from Sam’s Club at the first of the year. We LOVE it! We joke every time we get in it that it was the best $400 we have ever spent. I mean they do lack a few things that a traditional hot tub offers but for us its not things that justify paying thousands of dollars for. I highly recommend the inflatable option!
SWEET! Thanks for the heads up on how much you’re enjoying yours, JenK! ๐๐ We sure appreciate the awesome review!
