This USB C Fast Charging Adapter/block does charge my cell faster than using my old adapter. In fact, it charges my cell quite a bit faster. Do note that you plug a USB C cable into this adapter. I have several USB C to USB C cables so this adapter works great for my household. The adapter is a small size, and takes up very little space. When charging my cell, I checked to see if this adapter got overly hot, and it didn’t, so I feel safe using it.
As USB-C becomes more ubiquitous, not only as a connector but as the adapter-plug end also, we’ve had to rush and replace a number of our cubes. So far this one appears to work as well as any we’ve had. I like that it’s a little narrower than the true cubes (it’s more of a rectangle) so you can use it side by side with another in a power strip.
This charger works well with my USB C to C cable. This is slightly smaller than the original charger that came with my phone, but it works just as well. My original charger broke (or, shall we say, my toddler broke it), so I can’t compare them directly. But this seems to work just as fast. My phone went from 36% to 90% in about 1/2 hour.

It’s a USB-C charger so you would have to see if your phone cord is compatible with it (it is not a regular USB port end). Hope that helps.
