This 6.5” fountain is powered by solar energy! It features eight high-efficiency solar panels that go to work immediately when the fountain is placed in direct sunlight – the brighter, the better!
Along with the fountain, you’ll get four spray pattern disks and three nozzles. Each nozzle produces a different spray pattern. You can also adjust the height of the fountain spray by switching out the nozzles. Note that the spray height can reach 15-27 inches!

Hip team member, Lina made this awesome tabletop fountain with it by placing it in an inexpensive planter she lined with decorative rocks.
“What a neat product!! All you need is a couple inches of water to create a fountain anywhere. I just used an inexpensive Walmart planter with some decorative rocks and this solar fountain. I love the peaceful sounds and it’s so cute!” – Hip sidekick, Lina

I have used different solar fountains like this and sadly they don’t usually last a week. The last one we had lasted a day. It was outside in a large birdbath that holds about 2 gallons of water. The fountain ran it dry in one afternoon. The spray gets caught by even a light breeze and the fountain floats to one side and sprays the water over the edge. This last fountain had the improvement of spaces to keep it more centered. No idea how, but blackbirds removed three of the spacer arms and I found them on the ground. These are a lovely concept but not practical in my experience. : /
Thanks for sharing your honest experience with the solar fountains you’ve used in the past, Jennifer. Such a bummer to hear they didn’t work well in your space. 💓
I ordered 3 different ones and they were all not worth the money, even $11 for one. All 3 only worked if in direct sunlight constantly which is not possible throughout the day. I returned all 3.😔
Darn. Thanks, bdunlap, for letting us know these didn’t work out for you, and required a space with direct sunlight. 💛
I have this exact same one. I put it in a large bird bath and even with the different spray attachments, every one over sprays the birdbath in a matter of a few hours, running it dry. I paid $15 the last time H2S mentioned it. Definitely not worth the $$$.
We appreciate the honesty, Susan. ❤️ Sorry to hear this fountain hasn’t functioned well in your fountain.
Bought this one awhile back. Nice idea but poor quality.
Thanks for letting us know your thoughts on this fountain, Linda. Bummer the quality didn’t seem well on this one.
