A trip to the pumpkin farm sure is fun, but the prices can sometimes be spooky high. 😬

Fortunately, you don’t have to empty your wallet to find a reasonable price for a pumpkin! If you and your kiddos love to paint or carve jack-o-lanterns for Halloween, here are a few places where you can buy affordable pumpkins. 🎃

Where to buy cheap or affordable pumpkins:

1. Walmart

Jumbo Pumpkins – $6.99

According to Parade, club members can score jumbo pumpkins for just $6.99 at Costco! This price may vary by location.

6. A local farm

You may be able to score a deal on a pumpkin from a small local farm – one that doesn’t only grow pumpkins or operate as a full-fledged pumpkin farm. Also, check your pumpkin over carefully for any damage. If you see some minimal tears, it doesn’t hurt to try to haggle!

Hip Tip: Make the most of your purchase. Bake the seeds, cook the entire pumpkin, or use some of it in a recipe.
