USPS Just Launched a Free App to Track All Your Mail (Get Real-Time Alerts on the Go!)
The United States Postal Service just launched a free Informed Delivery Mobile app, which gives you a new way to manage your mail and packages while on the go!
Available since 2017, USPS Informed Delivery is a free service that allows postal customers in most zip codes to see a digital preview of their incoming mail and to manage their package deliveries via the USPS website and email. But now the new app promises to offer an even more convenient option.
The new USPS Informed Delivery app offers the following features:
- Push notifications for updates to incoming mail and packages
- Optional biometric login for added security
- Enhanced package-tracking capabilities, including the ability to scan tracking numbers/barcodes and share package status with others
- Ability to view, interact with, and manage incoming mail
The app is now available for download on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
This new app could be especially handy during the busy holiday season. With push notifications and package-tracking tools, you’ll know exactly when gifts and cards are on the way, and can grab packages quickly to avoid porch pirates.
